Yahvé Rapha Health Centre: A pillar for the promotion of community health

The Yahvé Rapha (YR) health centre, under the aegis of the Association Promo Monde Rural (APMR), is a key player in health promotion. Open 24 hours a day, the centre offers a full range of essential services, including preventive and curative medical consultations, the sale of essential generic medicines (EGMs), family planning services and HIV/AIDS screening. YR also stands out for its commitment to maternal health, offering pre- and post-natal consultations.

In partnership with a doctors’ association, the centre offers ultrasound services every Saturday to strengthen its care offering. This partnership extends access to specialist care for the local population. Attendance statistics testify to the importance of this centre: in 2023, YR welcomed 14,478 patients, the majority of whom were children and adolescents, making it a real pillar of community health.

Malaria accounts for a large proportion of consultations, with 8,382 cases recorded, including 596 serious cases. Thanks to its access to quality care and diversified services, this centre makes an active contribution to improving public health, particularly in rural areas where medical infrastructures are often limited.
