Created in April 2005, the Association Promo Monde Rural (APMR) is a secular, non-political, non-profit, community-based NGO. It is managed by an Executive Board under the supervision of a Board of Directors.

My name is Ouedraogo Emilienne, and it's thanks to APMR that I was able to realize my dream of becoming a dressmaker. After three years of enriching training, I obtained my Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle, which enabled me to join a dressmaking workshop where I am now fully at ease. My next goal is to open my own workshop and pass on my knowledge to other young people in search of success.

My name is Ouédraogo Fatimata, and thanks to APMR, I've been able to bring new hope to my association. APMR has provided us with food kits (rice, oil, etc.) to alleviate our basic needs. It has also given us access to training in entrepreneurship.

Before I met the Association Promo Monde Rural, I had no activity and no resources. Thanks to their support, I've been able to set up my own store, start a livestock farm and become financially independent, a dream that seemed unattainable. Today, I'm an active contributor to my community, despite the challenges, and I'm proud of how far I've come.
