
In the heart of the rural commune of Sapouy, many young girls are seeing their future transformed thanks to the Association Promo Monde Rural (APMR). Sapouy resident Emilienne Ouédraogo is a prime example. With a level of third in the first cycle of secondary school, she chose to enroll in the APMR training center, attracted by the experience of the students she saw around her. After discussing the matter with her parents, she took the plunge, and so began her journey with the association.
Quality learning at the training center
The center’s courses proved enjoyable and enriching for Emilienne, who completed a three-year training course in sewing. Thanks to the commitment of the association’s trainers and the quality of the teaching, Emilienne was able to acquire the technical and practical skills needed to exercise her profession. At the end of her training, she obtained her Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle, a decisive step for her future.
Successful professional integration
After obtaining her certificate, Emilienne joined a sewing workshop, where she puts into practice the know-how acquired during her training. This work has enabled her to gain experience and perfect her skills, consolidating her foundations for her professional future.
